![]() ![]() The first half of the book is utterly boring (though the second half’s not much better) – Frannie, Luc and Gabriel just lounge around doing nothing apart from angsting over their love life, complaining about their uselessness, moaning about their lack of power, giving each other mixed signals, having childish nightmares, feeling sorry for themselves and occasionally forming half baked plans to defeat Lucifer and his demons. Unsurprisingly, it’s not very long though before Lucifer and his demons track Frannie down and attempt to manipulate her to their own endgame. Newly human Luc and Frannie’s guardian angel, Gabe try and protect Frannie from Lucifer’s clutches by hiding her in Florida. Lucifer and his demons are hell-bent on getting Frannie on hell’s side and set out to claim her by any means necessary. Frannie’s powers and love for Luc turned him human and thus powerless to protect her from demons. ![]() Luc was sent by Lucifer to seduce Frannie in order to send her to hell, he failed to follow through with Lucifer’s orders after falling in love with Frannie. Frannie Cavanaugh’s life hasn’t been the same since millennia old demon, Luc walked into her life – she’s since found out that her father’s a fallen angel making her a Nephilim, she discovered that she has the power to Sway demons,angels and humans to do whatever she wants and she fell in love for the first time. ![]()
